purpose
you were invited to this blog because i know you (even if only at a distance) and i am aware that, like me, you are starving for something deep and spiritual and powerful to change your life. Jesus has, once and for all, conquered death and the grave. he has created a life beyond time and space. but eternity is not enough for you, is it? i know that you want to see the reality of the kingdom of God now - in this lifetime, in this season, in this present age. let this blog be a series of experiences, life stories, lessons learned, struggles and questions that help us further our movement on the journey of knowing holy spirit more.

There are no words to fully describe the work that Holy Spirit has been doing in our lives as individuals, in the midst of our families, of our friends, of our churches. He is real, he is present and he is showing us just enough of who he is to keep us in suspense for what is to come. It is no longer enough to simply have theologically sound ideas and morally upstanding lifestyles. Just as Moses desired an encounter with God beyond mere acts, we must desire to see him and know him and love him so closely that he is, in turn, able to trust us with his heart, his secrets and his very face.
"Israel was acquainted with the acts of God, Moses was acquainted with His ways... Whenever you have a revelation of an act of God, you have an invitation to His ways. Whenever you have a revelation of His ways, you have an invitation for divine encounter. Many people can applaud the acts of God... but never truly have ongoing personal encounter with God Himself. It's a romance with what He does, not a romance of who He is." --Bill Johnson
It is right for us to ask him for more revelation. It is right to ask him for supernatural encounters with him. But are we going to be persistent enough to ask him even through times of silence? Are we going to be patient enough to be still when he asks us to wait? Are we going to be obedient when he asks us to look like fools in the public eye?
I, Miriam S. Dumlao, challenge both myself and anyone else who is willing to ask, seek, knock and obey - do so without hesitation, without negotiation, with humility, with abandon. Holy Spirit is longing to reveal himself to us, and he will meet us where we are at and breathe his life into us.
